The Green Precious Metals Recovery System

The Green Precious Metals Recovery System (GPMRS) is a proprietary closed-loop electrochemical process developed by Rodolfo Primo for the recovery, purification, and refining of gold and other precious metals from post-consumer feedstocks.  Unlike conventional gold extraction — which relies on cyanide or mercury, both highly toxic to ecosystems, groundwater, and human health — the GPMRS uses a low-toxicity lixiviant recirculated in a closed loop, minimizing environmental discharge and hazardous waste generation.  The result: high-purity recovered gold with a dramatically smaller environmental footprint.

The GPMRS directly advances stated U.S. federal priorities:  • 2025 Executive Order on Strengthening Domestic Minerals Production and Processing Capacity • Dodd-Frank Act, Section 1502 — Conflict minerals and ethical sourcing • U.S. EPA programs on responsible industrial resource management • National circular economy and e-waste diversion initiatives  Domestically recovered gold reduces U.S. reliance on imported precious metals and builds critical supply chain resilience.
